My name is Amy Rainville I'm writing to let you all know about a My Healthy Vermont workshop offered at no cost to you this workshop will be held in person* starting June 12th at 9 AM - 10:30 AM.
This workshop will guide discussions focused on small changes that can have a big impact on blood pressure management. If you are one of the many Vermonters living with high blood pressure, you are not alone, and there is hope!
The in-person workshop will meet at the Hope Lodge in Burlington, where there is free off-street parking available.
Here's what you can expect when you sign up for this program:
- Get started with the basics of high blood pressure
- Learn how to monitor your blood pressure at home**
- Discuss how your dietary choices affect your blood pressure
- Motivate to move! Find ways to add activity into you day
- Topics on stress management
- Overcoming challenges managing blood pressure medication
- Problem solving and plans to make action!
