Saturday, March 25, the Old Brick Church will meet at 11 and on Sunday, March 26, as usual.
The reason for the Saturday service is that the church and pastor have been asked to pray over a couple with two young daughters that the parents will dedicate themselves to bringing them up in the ways of the Lord and the Bible. The girls are the pastor's great grandnieces and live in the Rochester area of New York. The girl's great grandmother lives in Topsham, VT and their relatives on their father's side are from the Richford Vermont area. It will not be a baptism, no water will be used, we will allow the daughters to choose that if they'd like when they are old enough to understand for themselves what baptism means.
The community is invited to join us for this joyous occasion, this dedication service.
And, of course, everyone is invited back to the service on Sunday morning at 10 which will have its own different emphasis.
