Bike Mechanics Classes followed by the Tour de Calais!
Join longtime resident of Maple Corner and even longer time dedicated cyclist, Bob Patterson for free bike workshops on Saturday, June 1 at the MCCC.
Schedule of Events:
9:00 - 10:30 a.m. - Workshop #1 for Beginners
Bob will cover the anatomy of a bike, pre-ride inspection, intro topics on how to clean and care for your bike.
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Workshop #2 for Intermediates
Bob will look more in-depth into the mechanical parts on the bike; how to evaluate them, adjust them, replace them. (We'll do what is possible in 2 hours!)
1:00 p.m. Lunch (can be purchased at the Maple Corner Store) and/or ride the Tour de Calais! We'll bike from Maple Corner Store to the Adamant Coop to the East Calais Store and then back!
