In honor and remembrance of the men and women who lost their lives in service in the U.S. military, an OPEN HOUSE will take place at MEMORIAL HALL in North Calais.

Memorial Day Weekend

Come stop by for coffee or tea, visit the VETERANS MONUMENT, enjoy reflection and community on the lawn, the porches, or inside the restored Hall, originally built by CALAIS veterans of the CIVIL WAR and dedicated on MEMORIAL DAY 1886.

Bring a picnic and a blanket or bag lunch and take in the greening spring views at MEMORIAL HALL. If the weather or bugs don't cooperate, come inside.

Please park on the back side of the Hall, or on the right on G.A.R Road just off #10 Pond Road and walk in. Two ADA spots are available near the ADA ramp.

Please drive slowly and watch for neighborhood pedestrians and pets.

You are welcome to bring flowers to place at the Veterans Monument.
