The Milk with Dignity Campaign will be the next offering in the Barre Historical Society/Old Labor Hall's monthly series of free events examining critical social issues and exploring ways for individuals to actively contribute to improving life in Vermont. The action-oriented session on May 19, from 3-5 pm at the historic Old Labor Hall, 46 Granite St., Barre will offer an opportunity to meet with immigrant dairy workers and organizers from the Vermont-based human rights organization Migrant Justice. A focus of the May 19 session will be getting Hannaford Supermarkets to sign on to the campaign.
