Green Things Growing's Garden Seedling Sale continues this Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm at 370 Richard Woolcutt Rd, Wolcott, just off Rte 12 in ELMORE, and will continue on future weekend days while supplies last. With our short growing season, get your best chance at success with locally grown, hardy, healthy garden seedlings: annual veggies/herbs/flowers and now some perennials, as well, including black currant plants and alpine strawberries. Grown from only non-GMO, mostly organic seeds in VT Compost Company soil products in a home greenhouse, these babies have had an infancy with minimal stress (but not overly pampered, either), no travel, and no chemical applications. Prices are: $4/3.5-4" pot (most plants are in this size pot), $6/generous six pack, $8/6" perennials and varying prices on larger items. High Mowing Seeds are available for purchase; all proceeds benefit the Wolcott Elementary Parent Organization (they put on fun events for the students and staff). Please park on the road and bring a tray/box for plant transport, if possible; hope to see you there!
