One of Montpelier' shiniest cultural gems is Capital City Concerts, now in its 24th year of bringing us gorgeous chamber music. This Saturday's concert , "Far Flung French," includes some of the most beloved French chamber music, including Cesar Frank's Sonata for cello and piano, works by Ravel, and Durable, and even a set of Edith Piaf songs. Performers are Cellist Edward Arron, pianist Jeewon Park, soprano Sophie Michaux, and multi-instrumentalist Adam Simon. They will be joined by Karen Kevra, flutist, founder, and CCC Artistic Director. I urge friends and neighbors to enjoy the music at the Unitarian Church, Saturday, May 18, at 7:30 p.m.
