Looking for bulk soil or compost for your gardens? On Saturdays in May, Vermont Compost Company is happy to load trucks and trailers with bulk soil and compost by the cubic yard. A cubic yard is approximately 3 wheelbarrows of soil, and most pickup trucks can hold 1 to 2 yards of material.
We've extended our hours and will now be open from 9:00am to 2:00pm, with no appointment needed. Enter from our North entrance, check in and pay at the office, and then follow signs for bulk loading and our crew will fill your truck or trailer with soil! All of our soil blends are available in bulk: Fort Vee, Fort Light, Perennial Blend, Manure Compost, Jolly Roger and Compost Plus.
