Cabot Community Theater is hosting a week-long kids' theater camp July 15-19, and we welcome new as well as returning thespians! The camp will consist of two M-F half-day programs, culminating in a joint performance late Friday afternoon.
The morning session (9-noon) will be oriented towards kids age 7-12, and include theater games to develop movement, voice, and teamwork skills, and rehearsing and performing a short comedy.
The afternoon session (12:30-3:30) will be for kids aged 11-16 who would like a deeper dive into acting skills and techniques. We will engage in acting exercises which explore the subtleties of portraying more realistic characters, and work on a short comedy-drama.
Registration for the camp is now open, at:

Registration will be open until June 30 or until the camp is full, whichever comes first; last year the camp filled in just a few days!
The cost for the week will be $75 for the half-day program, or $150 for the full day, payable on the first day of camp. We have scholarship aid available, so if the cost is a problem, please just let us know on the registration form. We welcome kids of all abilities, genders, backgrounds, levels of experience, and towns of residence. Age limits may be flexible: email karen@praxisworks.org if you would like to discuss your child's situation.
