All are invited to join the Missisquoi River Basin Association (MRBA) for our open house on Sunday May 19th. Stop by anytime between 9am- 11am at 2839 VT 105, East Berkshire, VT 05447, to enjoy locally sourced refreshments, a tour of our building, the opportunity to speak with staff and volunteers, as well as a chance to grab some educational material. To learn more about our Open House Event, please visit: https://www.mrbavt.com/event-details/mrba-umatr-open-house
The MRBA's activities range from education and community outreach to tree planting and fieldwork. We work with landowners on stabilizing stream banks, we cost-share with farmers to implement conservation practices, and we manage a volunteer-led water-sampling program to monitor phosphorus, nitrogen, and turbidity throughout the Missisquoi watershed.
We encourage you to stop in to see how we can partner with you to protect our valuable natural resources. The MRBA is seeking individuals who love the outdoors, want to have fun, meet new people and who want to make a difference. To learn more, please visit: www.mrbavt.com/volunteer
