The Brattleboro Music Center and Retreat Farm kick off their popular "Music Under the Stars" summer concert series Saturday, June 22, with a performance by the PESO Pan Evolution Steel Orchestra.

Admission is by donation. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. at Retreat Farm, with the concert at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to bring lawn chairs and a picnic, and to enjoy craft beers at The Thirsty Goat bar, and cool treats from Vermont Gelato.

The PESO Pan Evolution Steel Orchestra, a steel pan band, brings world class music to appreciative audiences around the U.S. and overseas. Founded in 2015 and based in Brooklyn, NY, the band uses its platform to promote unity throughout the culture and steel pan community, all while personifying the band motto of "Together As One."

Other scheduled concerts include the Vermont Jazz Center Big Band Saturday, July 20 and Keith Murphy and Becky Tracy with Special Guests Katie McNally and Neil Perlman on Saturday, August 17.
