Join your neighbors and friends on June 1st from 9:00 am til noon and remove invasive wild chervil from our roadsides. Stopping the spread of invasive plants encourages diversity of other plants. That in turn helps conserve pollinators, who are often species specific.
We'll meet at 9:00 am at the Fire House Pavillion to get road assignments and to answer any questions you might have. A delightful lunch from the Lincoln Store will be in "store" for you at noon.
We will have several (revolutionary) shovels available to borrow. Wear long sleeves and pants, good shoes, and gloves. Bring your own specialized plant-removal shovel if you have one.
This annual event is yet another reason we "Love Lincoln!"
