Hello neighbors! Please join your neighbors for this week's Ward 5 Neighborhood Planning (and DOING) Assembly. We meet from 6:30-8:30 at DPW (corner of Pine and Lakeside), with a FREE community dinner at the start.

Why "Neighborhood DOING Assembly?" Because groups of neighbors are currently organizing around three "get stuff done" projects in Ward 5, and the meeting will include a quick report-out on each of them. They are:
* Team Calahan Upgrades: building momentum for improvements at Calahan Park
* Team Community Gatherings: organizing neighborhood social events of all kinds
* Team Big Thing: developing and advancing a concept for a South End Community Center in the South End Innovation District (this project will be the focus of a longer work session at this same NPA meeting)

All three teams are eager to welcome additional folks, so if any of these topics are of interest to you, please join us!
