Green Things Growing's Garden Seedling Sale begins this Saturday, May 11th, from 10am-2pm at 370 Richard Woolcutt Rd, Wolcott (just off Rte 12 in ELMORE) and will continue on future weekend days (including Sundays!) while supplies last. With our short growing season, get your best chance at success with locally grown, hardy, healthy garden seedlings: annual veggies/herbs/flowers and now some perennials, as well. Grown from only non-GMO, mostly organic seeds in VT Compost Company soil products in a home greenhouse, these babies have had an infancy with minimal stress (but not overly pampered, either), no travel, and no chemical applications. Prices are: $4/3.5-4" pot (most plants are this size), $6/generous six pack, $8/6" perennials and varying prices on larger items. Wolcott Elementary Parent Organization will benefit from sales of High Mowing Seeds, along with 10% of Mother's Day plant sale. Please park on the road and bring a tray/box for plant transport, if possible; hope to see you there!
