The Duxbury Historical Society will be hosting a program presented by local singer and historian Linda Radtke titled, "From the Parlor to the Polling Place: Stories and Songs from the Suffragists."
In this presentation Linda be discussing the events leading up to and after the passing of the 19th Amendment, all while wearing period clothing and through the music written during this time.
This presentation is made possible through Vermont Humanities.
This will be held Tuesday, May 21st at 7 pm, in the South Duxbury Meeting House (formerly known as the South Duxbury Church) located across from Harwood Union High School. Refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!
