Hello South Cove area Neighbors
The M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon returns on Sunday, May 26th. Between 7:15am and 11:30am racers will be in your area. We heard your feedback last year regarding your challenges to drive in and out of your neighborhood during the race and have made an operational change which we expect will make things easier for you, but we need your help! Our goal is to keep the outside part of the South Cove loop available for vehicle traffic throughout the race, with racers on the inside part of the loop. If your house is on the inside of the South Cove loop and you expect to need to travel during the race, we would ask that you park on the street on the outside of the loop rather than in your driveway to avoid delays crossing the runners as you exit your driveway. When driving from your house, please drive counter-clockwise around South Cove. That's the opposite direction runners will be going. If returning to your house during the race, please turn left at South Cove East and drive clockwise around South Cove.
