This spring, the Essex Community Players is pleased to present the Pulitzer prize winning play "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds". Please join us for this heartwarming (and sometimes harrowing) story of survival, resilience, and, ultimately, grace in the face of toxic family dynamics — and the human spirit's amazing ability to overcome childhood trauma, break the chain of dysfunction, and soar. Written by Paul Zindel, directed by Adam Cunningham, produced by Holly Biracree, and starring Linda Iannuzzi, Nathalie Stapleton, Violet Chamberlin, Louise J. Mueller, and Nadiene Hanson-Metayer.
