For over 100 years, the Capital City Band has played free summer concerts on Wednesday evenings in Montpelier. As we prepare for this summer season, we welcome anyone who plays a band instrument at any age or level to join us. This is a great opportunity to meet your musical neighbors, and for young musicians to play side-by-side with accomplished players.

If you would like to join the band, bring your instrument and music stand to our practices on Wednesday evenings at 7 PM at the Monteverdi Music School (46 Barre St, Montpelier, Room 207):

Concert Season on the Vermont College Green starts on June 12 and runs through August 14, 7-8pm.
Though Covid rules have loosened around Vermont and the US, we still ask anyone who feels sick not to attend.
