Death Café, Memoir Writing Group and New Art Exhibit

Past event
May 9, 2024, 11 AM to 12 PM

We welcome everyone once again to come talk freely about death and dying at our Death Café this Thursday, May 9 at 11:00 a.m. Sharon Putney hosts this group for coffee and open conversation and exchange of ideas and resources. If you can't make it this week, but would like to learn more about Death Cafes and other resources in our community, email the newly formed NEK Death Care Community at nekdeathcarecommunity@gmail.com and ask to join their mailing list.

Also this Thursday, at 3:00 our Memoir Writing Group led by author Krissie Ohlrogge will meet one last time before deciding about future meetings with a possible spring/summer break. Everyone is welcome to come write and share.

Come any time this month to delight in the colorful paintings of Glover artist Joanne George. Most of the paintings are for sale at very reasonable prices. Joanne will not have an artist reception, but invites viewers to leave comments in her guest book.

We library staff forgive anyone who would rather be outside on a beautiful May day, but rain is coming later this week, and we hope to see you then!
