Maple Run Unified School District and Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) are hosting an upcoming presentation by Dr. Harris Strokoff on Social Media, the Internet, Gaming Addiction, Depression, and Suicide Risks in Kids and Teens:
May 21, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Saint Albans Town Educational Center (SATEC), 169 South Main Street, Saint Albans
Dr. Harris Strokoff, Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist and Medical Director at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, career has spanned almost 20 years and he will share medical evidence, as well as first-hand accounts, of how the internet, gaming, and social media addiction worsens mental health outcomes in children and teenagers and worsens suicide risks in these populations.
Dinner will be provided.
