A 5th grader at the Halifax School as been inspired to help young children on the other side of the world!
To have clean drinking water in South Sudan Africa, children walk miles a day to carry drinking water for their village. She is spearheading a Walkathon to raise funds to build a well for these people. The students will walk to the historic Bell Spring on Branch Rd, as they experience physically what these African children do everyone day!
On May 9th at 11:00 AM you can attend a full presentation of this project by the student.
