Plant Sale @ Bolton Spring Festival
Our community festival is THIS Saturday! As you look around your yard this week, please consider digging up and donating extra perennials you don't need (or set aside seedlings you won't use!). See below for info regarding plant sale and donations.
What: Bolton Spring Festival!
When: Saturday, May 11th, 2023, 9-2pm (plant & bake sale 9-11am)
Where: Smilie Memorial School; car wash (Bolton fire station)
Why:
+ Come purchase vegetable, flower, herb or perennial plants to add to your garden (Tucker Andrew's amazing tomatoes, Calabrian hot peppers, eggplant and Jimmy Nardello sweet peppers! MARIGOLDS! Sweet alyssum! Blooming violas! Sungold Cherry Tomatoes! Basil! Kale!)
+ Pick up a dessert for Mother's Day (Strawberry rhubarb PIES! Muffins! Cookies, brownies, cakes, oh my! Gluten-free baked goods!)
+ Check out 21 local craft vendors and the flea market in our gymnasium
+ Local ice cream truck and face painting
+ Have your car washed by our 4th grade class to support their end of year field trip
+ Come support our local school!
+ CASH or Venmo ONLY
DONATIONS: We are requesting donations of plants (PERENNIALS! Also peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, herbs, other vegetables, flowers, etc). We know many of you may have extra seedlings that you won't need, or perennials that you are looking to pass on.
Donations can be dropped of Saturday, May 11 at Smilie Memorial School (8-9am), OR May 6-10 to Sarah Courtemanche (3418 Stage Road, 802-881-6731). Please call or text ahead of dropping off, and label what you are dropping off (name of plant, and if it is hardened off).
