Springfield plans to close Valley Street to uphill & downhill traffic from Main Street to Pleasant Street. They are demolishing a building located at 34-36 Valley Street which directly abuts the public sidewalk and roadway. Thru traffic in that area will be directed onto Pleasant Street.
