This Saturday, May 11 the National Association of Letter Carriers will hold its annual "Stamp" Out Hunger Food Drive, and Manchester Center Post Office is participating. Making a donation is easy. Residents with a Post Box can bring their donation to the Post Office Saturday and leave it in the lobby bin. Rural delivery customers can leave a bag in or near their mailbox and their carrier will pick it up. All food items should be non-perishable and unopened. Food collected will be delivered to the Community Food Cupboard for distribution. Suggestions include canned meals like soup and stew, peanut butter, low-sugar cereals, kid-friendly crackers and snacks, coffee and tea, toothpaste, deodorant, diapers and wipes, but all donations are welcomed. For more information, call 802.362.0057 or visit www.communityfoodcupboard.org.
