On May 11 from 9:00 to noon, BPWA will offer a guided walk in the Berlin Town forest beginning at the end of Brookfield Road near the Berlin/Northfield Town line. Hikers will gather at 452 Brookfield Road.
Experts will be with us to discuss many points of interest, and will specifically focus on a vernal pool, a stand of old butternut trees, invasive plants, and wildflowers. After an easy one-half mile walk to the vernal pool, some may take a more energetic walk uphill to the butternuts. Parking will be available along the road edge. All are welcome!
