Where will you be on Green Up Day? How about the Barre City Cow Pasture?

We're gathering a team for litter pick-up and invasive plant removal 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Meet at the top of Maplewood Ave. (the one in Barre City) at 9 for an orientation to our most pervasive invasives. You'll learn how to identity and remove some of these plants, then members of the Pasture's stewardship committee will be on hand to show you some priority areas.

If you have them, please bring: work gloves (for pulling plants), pruning shears (to remove seeds), long pants (for protection against ticks), bug spray, and sunscreen. We'll provide Green Up bags and trash compactor bags for anything with seeds.
