[U.S. Route 2 Resurfacing Project]
TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION: On Saturday, May 4, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., motorists should expect lane closures and alternating one-way traffic and delays on U.S. 2 from English Cemetery Road to the intersection of VT Route 232 in Marshfield Village.
From Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., motorists can expect lane closures with alternating one-way traffic and delays on U.S. 2 in Marshfield Village. Flaggers and Uniform Traffic Officers will be present to assist motorists through the work zone.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: On Saturday, crews will continue paving operations from English Cemetery Road to the intersection of VT Route 232 in Marshfield Village.
Monday through Friday, crews will be performing drainage work at the Cabot Road intersection in Marshfield Village and ditching work east of Marshfield Village.
LOCATION: Beginning near the Plainfield/Marshfield town line, on U.S. 2, near the intersection of U.S. 2 and Hillside Drive, and extending easterly along U.S. Route 2 to a point just west of the VT Route 15 and U.S. 2 intersection in West Danville.
PROJECTED COMPLETION: Summer 2025
