There will be a Community Forum on Thursday, May 9th, at 6:00pm to discuss Lakeview Elementary School and the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The forum will be held at Lakeview Elementary School. Due to a current staff shortage for the upcoming school year, a short term working group was established by the Mountain View Union Elementary School Board to address the current situation. This working group is interested in hearing from the community in response to this situation.
Goals of the Forum
● Provide information to parents and community regarding the 2024-25 school year
● Update parents and community members on enrollment and staffing and options
● Consider various grade configurations and options with teacher vacancies
● Consider any related issues to some students attending other Mt. View schools
● Ensure families and the public are heard regarding the direction of the school
