Co-Presented with Young Tradition Vermont
8:00 pm-10:30 pm

Cedric Watson is one of the brightest young talents to emerge in Cajun, Creole and Zydeco (Louisiana French) music over the last decade. A four-time Grammy nominated fiddler, singer, accordionist, and songwriter with seemingly unlimited potential.

Ed Poullard was born in Eunice, LA and raised in Southeast Texas. By the time he was in grade school, he was playing in his dad’s band at house parties and parish dances. Ed began with the drums and guitar, moved on to accordion and fiddle and later studied with the legendary Canray Fontenot whom he performed with until his death in 1995. Ed showcased on “Creole Bred: A Tribute to Creole and Zydeco) Vanguard records with a “Who’s Who” of Louisiana musicians and hip artists from other genres.

Desiree Champagne rounds out the acoustic trio on washboard and vocals. Together, they make infectious dance music that for one evening will turn Hudson into a bayou.

Doors open at 7:30 pm. Tickets $17 in advance and $20 at the door are available through Higher Ground at www.Highergroundmusic.com
