What's going on in the Notch?
Cambridge Historical Society's May 8th Program.
Seth Jensen, Deputy Director of the Lamoille County Planning Commission, will talk about the latest goings on in the Notch. Last summer new parking areas were laid out to replace bootleg parking, and new plantings were added.
This year they are addressing "stuckages," all those tractor trailers that ignore the signs and then get stuck in the Notch.
Come and learn about Chicanes and how they may make stuckages a thing of the pass. VTrans will be installing test chicanes at both ends of the Notch this spring. Ask questions, give suggestions – he's here to listen as well as talk.
The program is free and all are welcomed.
The building is handicapped accessible.
Refreshments will be served (homemade, of course!)
