Maple Run Unified School District and Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) are hosting two upcoming presentations by Dr. Harris Strokoff on Social Media, the Internet, Gaming Addiction, Depression, and Suicide Risks in Kids and Teens:
May 7, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Bellows Free Academy, South Main Street, Saint Albans (enter through the Connector)
Dr. Harris Strokoff, Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist and Medical Director at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, career has spanned almost 20 years and he will share medical evidence, as well as first-hand accounts, of how the internet, gaming, and social media addiction worsens mental health outcomes in children and teenagers and worsens suicide risks in these populations.
All Maple Run families, students, and community members are invited.
