Water Wanderings Family Camps supports families to experience ease and connection while immersed in remote camping on Green River Reservoir. With the support of counselors and all the food and group gear provided, families play games, swim, canoe, cook, learn outdoor skills, and explore together. The communal atmosphere allows families to learn from each other and work together to create a supportive camp environment. Our family camp for older kids will include more advanced games and kids will play a greater role in keeping camp running, learning skills like fire building, fish gutting, and cooking. As one parent put it: There's camping and then there's camp, and I wasn't sure coming in if it was going to be like camping or camp but the workshops were amazing…what makes it feel like camp is having the [other] families and to see the kids having joy…for me that was hugely successful."
