The Jewish Community of Greater Stowe in collaboration with Vermont Holocaust Memorial hosts the stirring Vermont Stage performance of James Still's:
"AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME: Remembering the World of Anne Frank"
At a time when hate crimes and antisemitism are on the rise, and authoritarianism is gaining traction around the world, this is a story for everyone. Part oral history, part dramatic action, part direct address, part remembrance, "And Then They Came For Me" is like a historic newsreel brought to life.
Running time of the play is 90 minutes with no intermission. An optional talk-back about rising antisemitism will follow the event.
This commemoration event will include traditional memorial candle lighting and prayers.
Appropriate for grade 6 and up.
Free and open to the public. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AT:

There will be security presence on site.
