The annual Library Plant Sale is coming right up! This year the sale will be held May 18, from 9-1. This important fundraiser happens with the help of so many of you in the community. Here are ways you can help make the sale a success this year:

If you have extra pots that gardeners could use to fill with plants for the sale, we would welcome them at the library starting today. You can drop them on the front porch any time. If you have plants to donate for the sale but need pots, come by and snag them from the front porch.

We welcome perennials, vegetable and flower seedlings, shrubs, trees, houseplants for the plant sale. Please make sure any plants you donate are free of invasives weeds and pests. If you can label them, that is great, and if you can't, one of the garden experts on hand will identify them and label them- that is fine, too. Plants can be dropped off May 17 or the morning of May 18. If neither of those times work, reach out to Susan to arrange another time.

We've got volunteer sign up sheets for the Plant Sale and the Barn Dance at the library circulation desk. We need help organizing plants, selling plants and cleaning up at the end of the sale. For the Barn Dance, we need help selling tickets, parking cars, and a few other tasks. Sign up at the library or reach out to Susan director@craftsburypubliclibrary.org.
