WEDNESDAY, MAY 1st FOOD SHELF HOURS: 12 NOON TO 6 PM
The Food Shelf will be open on Wednesday, May 1st, from 12 Noon to 6 PM.
The Colchester Food Shelf serves any Colchester resident in need of services. You will be asked to provide proof of residency (POR) once a year. Please remember to bring your POR if you are a new client or have been asked to provide it previously. Examples of POR's are utility bills, tax bills, medical bills, or any recent document reflecting your name and current address.
Please line up in your cars in front of school and DO NOT BLOCK either the entrance or exit from the school.
lf you need to park in Claussen's parking lot, please DO NOT BLOCK access to their driveways, entrances, or mailbox.
Donations: We appreciate your generosity. If you are thinking of donating or organizing a food drive, please look at our website. On the Donate page of the website, you will find a list of items we stock on the Client Shopping List page. Clients benefit most from donations selected from this list. You can drop off your donations any time the Food Shelf is open. The best time is on Wednesday(s) from 11 AM to 12 Noon while volunteers are setting up and best able to handle donations
We also appreciate financial donations which provide funds towards purchases of food.
The Food Shelf operates with an all-volunteer staff and financial donations are used to cover the cost of food and utilities. Please visit the Donate tab on our website for ways to support our mission.

The Food Shelf is located at 245 Main Street, Colchester, between Claussen's
Greenhouse and Union Memorial School.
Hours of Operation: Wednesday 12 noon to 6 PM and First Saturday each month from 9 to 11 AM
