The St. Johnsbury Energy Committee and St. J Subaru are organizing St. Johnsbury's Green Up Day activities - an annual event dedicated to cleaning litter from Vermont's natural landscape and waterways.

Green Up bags for collecting trash are currently available at St. J Subaru (664 Memorial Dr.) and outside the St. J Town Clerk's office (51 Depot St.) Bring filled bags to, St. J Subaru, where they'll have a dumpster on-site for disposal, as well as coffee and donuts in the morning, and a thank you BBQ starting at 11:30am.

But wait, there's more! This year Green Up Vermont is leading an exciting attempt to hold the Guinness World Record title for "The Most Pledges Received to Pick Up Trash in 24 Hours". Be a part of making history and green up your community! Make your pledge by signing the form located at the Town Clerk's office in advance, or at St. J Subaru the day of the event.
