The Randolph Singers present their first concert of 2024 with a wide selection of joyous music. You will hear music by the Beatles, Paul Simon, Pete Seeger, and two Vermont composers. Dona Nobis Pacem, which means "Give Us Peace," a stirring composition accompanied by a brass quintet and timpani, written by Kathy Wonson Eddy of Braintree. The Singer's director, Christopher McWilliams of Barre, composed "Great Day," which will be premiered at this concert.
The newly founded Chandler Children's Chorale will perform selections from "the Little Mermaid" and then join the Singers in selections from "The Sound of Music." A choral setting of Elgar's Enigma Variations challenged the Singers with it's 8 part, double chorus harmony. The complete program can be found on the Singer's website: https://www.randolphsingers.org/spring-concert.
While there is no charge for tickets, the Singers, a non-profit community chorus, established in 1968 and still going strong, is always grateful for your contributions at the door.
