Hello, bird enthusiasts! The VTSU-Johnson Bird Research Team is hosting its first-ever Public Bird Banding Day! Spread the word! Come brave the morning before Green Up activities and have the chance to see some local feathered friends up close. All ages are welcome, and we will have bird-themed games and some educational talk about our current research. We'll be at the solar field at the intersection of College Hill Rd and Pond Rd from 6 AM to 11 AM (We'll have signs out directing). We'll likely see the most birds earlier in the morning, so we'll have coffee on tap for the early birds! *This is a weather-dependent event*, so check our Instagram @JohnsonBirdCrew for updates, and we'll try our best to keep everyone updated.
