Our speaker this week is Dr. Laurel Neme, consultant in environmental and wildlife policy and natural resource management. She is the author of the book Animal Investigators: How the World's First Wildlife Forensics Lab Is Solving Crimes and Saving Endangered Species. In short, she is an expert on "Animal CSI." Dr. Neme has worked as a consultant for organizations including the United States Treasury Department, the World Bank, the Environmental Defense Fund, the Nature Conservancy, and the World Wildlife Fund. We've invited her to shed light on the whole world of illegal wildlife commerce.
