CMB: "The Bizarre Language of Birds" -- The Play.

CMB: The Bizarre Language of Birds is the play portion of an arthouse trilogy derived from the CALL ME BABY project. This edition will be experimental theatre. Where societal boundaries are pushed and important questions are posed in regards to soci-economic class discrepancy, sexual preference and orientation. The show will be recorded and presented to film students in Denver, Colorado this summer.

Why: Film documentary style Play "CMB: Bizarre Language of Birds" to be presented to film students.

Who we are: A collective of new age filmmakers. This project is non-union and independently funded.

When: The Show will take place 2024 JUNE 24-26 in Montpelier, Vermont at Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Expected commitment: Once casting decisions are cemented we will expect those who participate to dedicate 4.5-weeks to 'hybrid model' table study and rehearsal (Barre, VT), beginning Mid-May -- virtual table reads, then physical meetup. Please be advised this is an unpaid opportunity, therefore preference will go to those living in and around the Montpelier area; however, all are welcome to inquire.

You: Varying experience in theatre. Preferably in the Montpelier, VT area. Consent to be filmed for University study viewing. Willing to sign non-liability disclosure. Interested in being apart of a cutting edge film project which highlights the importance of diversity and theatrical roots.
