The Vermont Genealogy Library 's annual Open House will take place this Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. The event is free and open to the public.
Visitors will have access to over 5,000 volumes of genealogical references, six online databases including Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast & the two largest collections of Quebec records. Tours of the library will run all day along with a huge book sale with over 250 titles.
Six 30-minute demos will cover FamilySearch tips, online mapping tools, Irish surnames, organizing with OneNote and free family charting software. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be available at no charge. Bring a friend and meet lots of fellow family historians!
