Building Bright Futures is one of 16 statewide organizations and agencies collaborating with the Let’s Grow Kids campaign on Raising of America Conversations—a series of events featuring a 30-minute sneak peek of the powerful new Raising of America documentary with a community conversation afterwards. The conversation will include a panel made up of a: parent, pediatrician, early educator, childcare provider and business person. A Q&A will follow the panel discussion.

Currently, 40 to 50% of Vermont children arrive at kindergarten unprepared. Why is this happening, what are the consequences, and how can we build a firm foundation for our children’s future success in school, relationships and the workforce?
