Once again, students in the Local Sustainable Food Systems course at Sterling College will be preparing Community Dinner this Friday evening in the Dunbar Dining Hall. This meal is free and open to anyone in the greater Craftsbury area. Dinner starts at 4:30 and goes until 6:00pm.
This week we will be serving up a beef slider bar, featuring beef from our very own Gwyneth and Neil Harris of NewGrass Farmstead in Wolcott, VT. There will be homemade buns glazed with a fresh ramp butter, coleslaw, Erin's beloved brussels sprouts, and every burger fixing under the sun. All diets are welcome and accommodated!
As in weeks prior, we will have two donation boxes out: one for monetary gifts benefiting the Sterling Facilities Fund, in honor of Kelly Jones, our former director of buildings and grounds. These funds go directly to the improvement of campus housing for our students. Our second box is for household items, clothing and books.
We hope to see you there!
