The Heritage Winooski Mill Museum, in partnership with the Winooski Senior Center, invites the public to join us at the Winooski Senior Center on May 1st from 10am -12pm to learn more about the series of free community quilting workshops we are offering later in May. At this introductory meeting, Lisa Therrien, who will be teaching the workshops, will share quilting examples, discuss ideas, and get feedback from participants about the project direction.
The Coffee Chat is an opportunity for you to ask questions and find out more about the community quilting project! All skill levels welcome. No experience necessary to participate.
The first hands-on quilting workshop will begin on Wednesday May 22nd from 10 -12 at the Winooski Senior Center, and be held on Wednesdays through July 24th. Participants can sign up for the free quilting workshops at the Coffee Chat, email the Mill Museum at miriam@vtmillmuseum.org or call the Senior Center at (802) 655-6425.
The Story Quilt Project is supported in part by the Vermont Arts Council, the E.A. Michelson Foundation, the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
