Join us at the Pierson Library this evening at 6:00pm for an engaging talk on the Battle of Cedar Creek. Historian Michael Soules presents the key role Vermonters played in this pivotal civil war battle. So much so that a Cedar Creek State room was dedicated in Montpelier! Other topics will include Shenandoah Valley, how and why the battle drastically changed throughout the day, the Halt, Sheriden's Ride, Belle Grove, and Lincoln's election.
