Did you know that a 72-yr old Vermonter is running across the United States to raise awareness of the dangers of childhood obesity? Come join us November 2nd at 2:00 pm to hike Mt. Philo. We will share some cider and local apples and learn about Newton Baker's Race Across the USA where he will run from California to Maryland in 140 days, ending this awesome feat with a meeting with Michelle Obama! You can also learn what ACS CAN is doing to fight childhood obesity in Vermont and sign up to become an Advocacy volunteer or a legislative ambassador.
