On Wednesday, October 22nd, Castleton Historical Society members and friends will car-pool to the historic Theron Boyd house in Queechee, just outside of Woodstock. Generally not open to the public, the house is a mini-history lesson, reflecting over 200 years of private ownership. We are grateful that the last owner, Theron Boyd, refused to sell to a local land-developer. We will leave from the Higley House on Main Street at 10 AM.
