Recently, one of my weaving friends expressed an interest in getting together with other weavers in the community. We know you're out there... but it's a solitary craft, that's not particularly portable, so we don't tend to show up at mending or knitting circles. We're looking to support each other in our weaving adventures, projects, ideas, stumbling blocks, loom issues and share our weaving knowledge and experience with our like-minded fiber community.
This is an open invitation to local weavers (all levels, whether current, lapsed or wannabe): Come join us this coming Saturday, April 27th at 10am in my Hardwick studio (purple house, 244 Carey Road).
This is a totally informal gathering with no obligations for the future, although we are hoping there is interest in getting together again.
