SONNET CIRCLE

Closing out April's National Poetry Month celebrations, we'll have a little "satellite" poetry event close to home in Adamant on Sunday, April 28, as part of PoemCity 2024. This is a relaxed, friendly hour-ish. All are welcome. Please come, join in, listen to sonnets, and bring a favorite (penned by anyone or yourself, from any decade, contemporary or long-ago!) to share aloud. (No pressure, just listening is fine too.) Reading from paper or book is highly recommended, but if you've got the cell coverage, go for it.

I'll start off the hour by reading a handful of sonnets, including from my just-published debut poetry collection, STONECHAT, and then we'll have fun moving around the circle.

Bring a favorite sonnet, written by anyone and, following her reading, join Mary in a sonnet circle, a collective reading where we'll take turns reading sonnets.
