Hardwick Kiwanis Club is again working diligently to bring the community a fun-filled family day that includes parade and Spring Festival. The theme for this year is: VETERANS – OUR HOME TOWN HEROS.
Please join us in beginning the festivities at the Grand Marshall Reception, Friday night at Atkins Field at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, the parade begins at 10:30 a.m.
Kiwanis needs help with the following:
Sponsors;
Volunteers (early morning to help setup tents); volunteers will receive a 'Friend of Kiwanis' tee-shirt)
Volunteers (to man games and booths) – volunteers will receive a 'Friend of Kiwanis' tee-shirt);
Canapés – 10 x 10 (we are looking to borrow 12 - 14);
Area School Bands or other school organizations;
Floats (line-up is at 9:00 a.m. at Hazen Union);
Chili Cook-off Contestants – nominal entry fee;
Human Truck Pull Contestants – $50.00 per team;
Craft Vendors ($50.00 per booth if registered prior to May 15th - $75.00 after)
Attractions:
Mid-way Rides – Horse and wagon ride; James' Model T Antique Car;
Many mid-ways games, including Dart Poker; childrens' bouncy blow-ups;
Duck Dive Tickets – last year's winner won just over $1,000.00;
Evening Street Dance
Food Vendors:
House of Pizza; Ric's Fair Food; Smokin' Hot BBQ; Village Diner (pies); Alumni Chicken BBQ; Joe's Assorted Fried Foods; John Ramsey Burgers

Nature-Bird Walk;
Fun Run;
Tristan Southworth Memorial Baseball Game;
And more activities sponsored by Downtown Partnership
Shuttle Service throughout the day sponsored by Wildcat Busing.
